A little background on the inspiration to this somewhat random comic strip: I just found out that a person I know parents are getting a divorce. Where I come from, at least, this is extremely uncommon. Not only are they getting a divorce, but the father, who was the one working, is moving to a different country, and taking all the kids besides the girl I know. This made me extremely sad , and inspired me to draw this. It doesn't really have to do with the divorce, but this is what popped into my head.

It mainly has to do with the over judgmental society. Everyone sees him as the lazy and maybe dumb kid. He has no good reason, they think. Sure, this isn't a good reason to fail all the classes, but it sure makes it harder.

I feel this is what may have happened to this girl after she found out about the divorce, and people shouldn't be so harsh.
